They met. She bought him a drink. They ate hotdogs. He went away for a little while. Then he returned and had a party. She came over early to make ice cream. He wasn't there. Later he did a keg stand. She was impressed. They talked. And talked. For a few hours. They kissed. They have been together every day since.
the engagement story
It was sunset. Dan invited Dana for a evening stroll to enjoy the first snow of winter. Fireflies floated above. They walked through an enchanted forest. They came to a clearing. standing alone in a soft streak of light, stood a stag. Dan cleared his throat. Dana looked over and he was on one knee. He released two snow white doves. Then he released 25 yellow butterflies...one for each year he had lived without her. Then he released a swan. The swan was carried by 10 fairies. And that swan went on to save Christmas. Dana was speechless. Sparkles surrounded them. Dan spoke. "Dana, I have been waiting my whole life for you. You are my shining star. My glowing goddess of warmth. Please honor me by being my wife". A single tear dropped down Dana's cheek. That tear fell to the ground and summer returned to the land. She choked back the tears of pure joy and responded with a soft and true "YES". He stood. They embraced and kissed.
Real Story: A day and a half after their first kiss, Dana said "we should get married". Dan didn't say much.
